Playing Dirty

I got these really cute pics of Mikey playing in the dirt today. I swear, that kid does not care how hot it is outside, if there are mosquitoes...nothing...he LOVES being outdoors! Sooo NOT like me! LOL I'm an indoor girl! :) Anyway, here they are. And for my own personal benefit, I just want to document that I am up to 56 LOs for the year :)

A New LO

Another LO

I finished this 8x8 LO for my BOM last night while Miguel was at the computer. I had been working on it for a couple of days. I got the inspiration for it from 2 Peas. Love the colors! This is supposed to match the 6x12 LO "Someday" that I did a while back with a pic of Miguel in a tuxedo at his brother's wedding. TFL :)

FINALLY...a LO!!

I started "working" on this LO last night, but I only got as far as printing out my picture. I was browsing the online galleries looking for a LO to lift and couldn't find anything to inspire me. So I just left it alone. After I got on the treadmill today, I sat down and just started putting things together and this is what I came up with. I got my inspiration from a LO on 2 Peas. I really love how it turned out. This is a picture I took of Mikey with my grandmother last week while we were visiting her at the nursing home. This was only the second time he has seen her and this time, he was not shy at all! He had her laughing and he climbed right up on her lap and let me take some pics of them together. I hope he gets to see a whole lot more of her :) TFL!

Here's a collage of picture frames I put up on one of the walls in our room here at my mom's. I had bought these frames a while back to do this on the wall over our bed back at the old house, but never got around to it. I really like it. Don't know if I want to add anything else to it. TFL :)

A New LO

This is a LO that I hadn't finished up from Scrapapalooza at my sis's last month. I FINALLY got around to working on it and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out! Hopefully this will get me back on the scrapbooking wagon. Now that we are finally all settled in at my mom's....maybe I'll get back into it! That's all for now. TFL :)

P.S. There's a shadow on the bottom corner of the LO that isn't there IRL. I think it's the shadow of the camera. I had a really hard time finding a place in my mom's house that had good lighting :(

We are DONE!

We are finally 100% moved in!! YAY! Every box is unpacked...everything is in its place....THANK GOD!! Whew! I don't want to do this again anytime soon!!

Here's some pics of my new scrap area and the kids room. I just put their bunkbeds together last night...all by myself :) with only a few injuries! LOL Mikey loved them! He was so excited! He even slept in there by himself last night! Of course, I had to lay with him to fall asleep but he stayed there all night and didn't end up in our bed until this morning. Here's hoping that he'll start sleeping there every night. Lij got the top bunk and he has the bottom one. I need to get him a bigger comfortor because he has the Diego one from his toddler bed on there right now and it's too small. That's all for now. I'm resting for like a WEEK!! :)

The light at the end of the tunnel.....

There's light at the end of the tunnel!! YAY!! I am ALMOST done unpacking!! What a relief that this is almost over!! It has been SO hard getting all this done, but I'm almost there! We moved all our stuff over on Saturday and I started unpacking and getting stuff in its place. Two days later and everything is almost in order. We still need to put the kids bunkbeds together, but the better part of their room is set up already. Miguel set up his shelves in the little portable shed my mom has out back and he did a pretty darn good job! He worked so hard too! I still have to put my sb stuff in place and a few little things here and there, but for the most part, it's DONE! Thank God!!! Can't wait to just REST! Every single bone in my body hurts...including my fingers! LOL I'll be back later :)

AAAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!

I am SOOOO sick of packing! I never, ever want to see another box in my life! Unless it's from the UPS guy and it's filled with scrappy stuff :):) Yep, I am STILL packing! And in my opinion, or so I thought...we don't even have THAT much stuff, but it just keeps comin'!!
We ended up only have the yard sale on Sunday because on Friday night, my mom called and said Mikey was running a fever and had thrown up. So we rushed over there and stayed the night and took him to the doc in the morning....ear/throat infection. So by the time we were done with the doc, it was just too late. We also went and got the kids some bunkbeds for the room they will share, did some other stuff I can't even remember. We ended up staying at my mom's that night and waking up EARLY the next morning to come set up. I have also been sick though and Saturday night and Sunday were two of my worst days! Not good for a yard sale! But I hung in there! And my mom had some antibiotics I have been taking that helped ALOT! I'm almost completely better! Anyway, the sale was awesome!! Thank God! And we sold all the big stuff we wanted to including the trampoline! We only had a few boxes of misc stuff left over and just left that out with a "FREE" sign for ppl to take and most of it was gone by the next morning. We made $700 which is not bad at all! That will cover the cost of our UHAUL rental and anything else we need to get, plus pay some bills.
Miguel went on our last box run this morning...I hope! He set the alarm for 5 a.m. and went to Wal Mart and HEB to catch the overnight stockers before they crushed them or whatever it is they do to them. He got alot of them so hopefully this is enough for what we have left. We should be moving stuff starting Friday night and then finish up on Saturday. Then the fun of UNPACKING begins! I'm tired of moving :( that's all for now!
