Happy Mail Day

I haven't done much but clean today, but I was happy to get these in the mail from scrabook.com. I have been looking for these stamps forever and everyone was always OUT OF STOCK!! I got an email from sb.com when they got more in and I JUMPED on them! I can't wait to use them. I think I'll do a LO using only stamps and my new Zigs to color them in! Oh, I also have to post the new pages I did at Tammy's on Sunday for my mom's book. And I'm also going to try to do my Week 15 card later tonight. Mikey hasn't napped much today so maybe he'll go down early and stay down and I can have a little relaxing, scrappy "me" time :)

Ebay Goodies..

I forgot to post a pic of these yummy Zigs I got from ebay a couple of days ago. I figured I could use them to color in those cool AL alpha stamps I just got or to doodle with, ect.






I also found this cute ad in one of my issues of CK and thought it was so true and funny so I framed it on my wall in my scraproom :)

A LO and my week 14 card...

Here's a LO I did a few days ago with my new Autumn Leaves alpha stamps that I am just LOVING!! It's very simple, but I like it! The pic of the kids up against that wall in our backyard made me think of some kind of ad for like Gap kids or something. I love that Mikey is doing "his own thing" which made me come up with that title. I used a pic of birds on our feeder for my card for this week. TFL :)

Inspired by Janey...

Per Janey's challenge to get us all to make a little book like the one she did about her "Scrap Friends", I almost finished mine up today. I still need to add the journaling or whatever I decide will go on the page opposing the pics and I need a pic, Janey or if you want, I will just use the one I already have. I don't think my book is nearly as good as Janey's :( but I like it well enough!! LOL

A Trip to HL

Me and Tammy took a trip to Hobby Lobby today because the papers were half off! I only got 8 of the 8.5x11 papers, some Autumn Leaves stamps I saw on 2 Peas that I wanted, and some stuff from the Easter clearance section which was 50% off: some neat little wooden flower frames that I'm going to alter and put somewhere in my scraproom and some green felt ric rac. Happy shopping day :)

Good Morning to me...NOT!!!

Okay, so aside from not EVER getting a good night's sleep because of Mikey being in the middle and squirming and waking up every TWO hours, I am RUDELY awakened this morning by the whining of Mikey and Elijah at about 9:00 a.m. So instead of waking up SLOWLY like I prefer and laying in bed for a while before I actually get OUT of bed...I had to jump out of bed and start my day with yelling and cleaning up. I go into Elijah's room where he and Mikey have ALL the blankets on the floor trying to make a "fort" which would MAYBE be okay if Elijah wasn't trying to use the drawer to MY desk in his room to hold it. I have REPEATEDLY told him not to do this or he will break my drawer. Well....he broke it!! So while I had him cleaning up his room, I noticed that his Game Cube stuff was out...when it shouldn't be because he is grounded from it until next report card for having an F in Social Studies!! Don't get me started on that!! So when I ask him why it's there, he goes on and on and on about how he DOESN'T know. I KNOW this kid is lying to me which is making me SO angry. He FINALLY admits that he was playing it while I was still asleep this morning!! I'm telling you....he is working my LAST nerve! He has gotten the VERY bad habit of repeatedly lying to me to avoid getting into trouble, but as I explained to him. He needs to be responsible for his own actions and deal with the consequences from the start because lying to me is only going to get him into MORE trouble and I am not going to believe he is telling me the truth if he is always lying just like "The Girl Who Cried Wolf". Anyway, right now I have him cleaing his room from top to bottom and he will be doing that or reading ALLLLLL day!!!!
On a much happier note....LOL I am so happy that I got to talk to my GOOOOOD friend Lori who lives in PA last night! I hadn't talked to her in FOREVER and we had ALOT of catching up to do!! I always have such a great time talking to her and we always laugh SOO much!! She is such a nut and I just love her to death!!! :)I always feel happy when I get off the phone with her :)
After hearing about Janey's all night scrapping party night before last...I decided to pull my own little semi-all nighter and made this for my scraproom.



I put it in this frame and I am LOVING the way it looks!!!

Oh and here is a pic for Janey. This was my room and table while I was working last night. I am SOOO anal..it's not a good thing...really, it isn't...it's like a CURSE! Sometimes I wish I wasn't so clean and maybe I'd have more time to do other stuff if I wasn't always so concerned about cleaning up! Yes, it's my downfall :( LOL





Okay, that is all for today. I think I will head downstairs and face my day!! LOL Maybe I'll get to do some more scrapping later :)

I got more pages done...

So, here's a few more pages in the book I'm making my mom. I have about three or four more to do to finish the book and then I have to decorate the little purse that it goes in. I'll post pics of that when I'm done.

I got some more goodies in the mail today. Some 7 Gypsies stamps and some HS journaling spots I ordered from KT Crafts. They have VERY low shipping! I think it was less than two dollars for my stuff!

Something I'm working on....

Tammy gave me this yummy 7 Gypsies cb purse and accordian book (thanks Tammy :))and I decided to fix it up and give it to my mom for Mother's Day. I'm using all Daisy D's papers....trying to use up some of my old stash. Here's what I have so far!

Here are some things I ordered from Rocky Mountain Hobbies. I had originally ordered from them ONLY because they had the Autumn Leaves Freestlye alphabet stamps I have been wanting FOREVER! But as it turned out, they were OUT OF STOCK even though it had NOT said that when I placed my order! I was pretty mad! OH and on top of that, they left out one 12x12 sheet I had ordered. I emailed them but have NOT gotten a response. I don't think I will be ordering from them again. Here are my goodies!
