8 minutes, 8 pounds, and 5 layouts....

LOL that is what has been going on with me in the last ten days since I posted here. I'm still doing the treadmill...EVERY day even when I don't want to! And I am up to running 8 minutes straight which is ALMOST a full mile. I weighed myself on Saturday and I have lost EIGHT pounds since I last weighed myself about a month ago. I'm curious to know how many inches I have lost. I know I have because of the way my clothes fit, but I'd like to know the exact numbers. So there is hope for me yet!! I just may fit into that dress next month!! Cross your fingers for me!! :)

So we had our monthly crop this past Saturday and I was able to finish five of the six LO's I had packed! YAY! And I didn't even go crazy with the shopping either...so proud of myself :) I only spent $14!! I guess it helped that they didn't have any new stuff in since the last time I was there. At least not anything that I REALLY needed!! LOL I did get some SUPER CUTE Daisy D's cs stickers and then just some random papers. I got to meet Karen (Scrappikat) from sb.com, her lovely friend Sharon who is also on sb.com and Karen's too cute daughter Lexie. We had so much fun! I can't wait until next month's crop!! So much fun to have girl time! Hanging out, chatting, laughing and scrapping! Can't beat that!!
So here are the layouts I finished.

This one is my favorite. We took this picture of my grandmother this past Mother's Day. We took all the grandkids to see her and we got her bouquets of roses. She looked so good and so happy to have us all there. I'm going to enter this one in the Lucky 7 contest on sb.com.


This one is also going into the contest. I really love the way this one turned out! This is a picture of the house that I grew up in for 18 years.

It's been a while....

WOW...I didn't realize it had been over a week since I last blogged. Not much had been going on I guess. Actually, Mikey had been sick and then I got whatever he had so I hadn't been doing much of anything. Mikey seems to have gotten over the most of it and thankfully I didn't get as bad as he had been.

So, I've still been getting on the treadmill. I absolutley HATE it, but love the results I'm seeing. I'm not kidding when I say that every day I HAVE to make myself do it. I tell myself that I owe it to myself and that I will be happy with the end result. I haven't weighed myself in about three weeks...maybe longer, so I don't know if I've lost any more weight, but I am losing LOTS of inches. My shorts are fitting alot looser and I'm even fitting into shorts that HADN'T been fitting me! And most importantly...my SHIRTS are fitting looser and so are my bras!! LOL HAPPY DAY!! Good bye to the girls!! LMBO Maybe Miguel won't be too happy about that!! LOL I'm up to running seven minutes straight and still doing my 3o minutes a day. When I run longer, I cover more distance in that time. It's getting easier and my legs aren't hurting as much so yesterday I did a total of 45 minutes and did three miles. YAY! I'm really proud of myself for sticking with it so far. Next week will be one month. I talked to Miguel about it the other day and told him to not let me give up. His brother is getting married in late July and Miguel is standing in the wedding. I'll be going with him and there is a black dress that I have that I am DETERMINED to fit into. Last time I tried it on, it was fitting good except for my "chest area"....maybe in a few more weeks, it will fit better.

Anyway, I did my last two cards for the art journal challenge: the "right now" card and the "what I'd like to learn". And I also uploaded a LO I did last week or the week before..not sure. I totally forgot about it so here it is too.

Some Scraplifts

I'm so happy when I get some time to scrap! The kids woke up pretty early today so I got an early start on all my chores and was done before nine!! Mikey took an early nap and I got to do some scrapping. He even woke up and took a second nap...I joined him on that one! LOL We slept for like two hours I think. And when we woke up, him and Lij played in his room while I scrapped a second LO. I ordered pizza, we ate, played outside then the kids came in and bathed. I'm about to go downstairs and get on the treadmill and do my two miles. It usually takes me about 30 minutes to do about 2.1 miles. I've been sticking to it for two weeks now and although I've only lost two pounds the last time I checked, I can "feel" a difference in my body and see that my clothes aren't fitting as tightly and that's GOOD! LOL Okay, here are the LO's. The kids are fighting and I need to get to it!!

The first one I did, I was inspired by a girl on sb.com:LindsD620. I don't think I scraplifted it because I didn't even use the same "design" I liked her idea of doing a LO about things her bf liked which I did too!

The second was pretty much a scraplift of a LO done by Kittyeisner on sb.com. I changed the title on mine, but other than that, it's pretty much the same. I just LOVE it though!! I had to copy it!!

Another Elsie LO

I got the idea for this LO from another woman on sb.com: Lillagumman. I did mine totally different from hers, but I loved the idea of her title which was "7 Different Me". I really love the way it came out. I got to use some more of my Love Elsie stuff and some Sassafrass Lass border stamps I had gotten a while back, but still hadn't used. TFL :)

More Scrapping

This is the other LO I was working on and didn't like, so I changed it up a bit and now I'm happy with it :)

I also did this other LO today. I wasn't happy with it at all, but as I went on, I started liking it more and more and I really love the way it turned out! :)

A Scrappy Kind of Day :)

Yay! I got to do TWO LO's today!! I always feel so good when I get to spend time scrapping. Even if I do have to stop every couple of minutes to check on the kiddos and referee a fight! One of them, I started last night and then worked on today, but I had a change of heart on some things so I am still working on it and will post the finished LO when I am done. The other one, I scraplifted from a neighbor on sb.com: cheryljunegirl. I just love her work and when I saw the way she used the heart shape from the Bazzill cardstock with an Edge, I just had to try it. I REALLY, REALLY love the way it turned out! I should post a pic of her LO too. I'll try to get the link and see if I can. Anyway, here is the LO.

My sis came over to spend the night tonight. We made strawberry daquiries....mmmmm....Tomorrow we are going to scrap, so I will finish up my LO and see what else I can come up with. I need to take some pics of the little 7 Gypsies book I have been working on for Miguel as a Father's Day gift. Okay, it's late and I'm tired and I'm sure the kids will be up really early!! Night! :)

Did I do Elsie justice??

I got a chance to play with my Elsie stuff yesterday and came up with this LO with a pic of Mikey I had just taken earlier in the morning. I like it, but don't feel like I did Miss Elsie justice :( I know, I know...I'm probably my worst critic. Well, here it is!

CARDS

YAY! I got to catch up on my cards while Mikey played like a good boy in my scrapbook room with me. I have a bin with old stickers that I will never use and Mikey loves to play with them. He sticks them all over the place, but if it keeps him happy...so be it!!

I'm pretty happy with the way these came out and now I am all caught up!! Now I need to finish up some other scrapping I've been doing. Maybe I can work on some more stuff later tonight. Lij's last day of school is tommorow and then it's two and a half months of "Mom, he's hitting me", "Mom, Mikey is in my room"...oh God, anyone want to babysit my kids while I take a two month cruise? Any takers?? Hello?? LOL JK :)

Some More LO's

I finally got a little bit of scrapping done yesterday...Thank Goodness!! LOL I still need to do my cards...three of them...gotta catch up!! I'm not sure if I should add anything to these LO's. Maybe some kind of title to the one of me and Mikey and maybe "best friends" somewhere on the pic with rubons on the LO of Mikey and Barney?? Not sure. Anyway, this is what I have for now. TFL :)
